Henderson High School students have an opportunity to learn Mandarin and discover more about Chinese culture this year with the help of a Mandarin Language Assistant.
Aifeng Sheng will be working alongside our Mandarin teacher, Mr Alex Qi, teaching our high achieving students.
Aifeng will be working with the school in partnership with the Confucius Institute at Auckland University. This is Aifeng’s second year working with students in our community, after working with Tirimoana and Freyberg schools last year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn Mandarin, the most commonly spoken language in the world.
