Year 11 Painting

Year 11 students studying visual art painting recently visited the Auckland Museum to gain a deeper understanding of culturally significant objects in a museum setting. Our young artists visited the Māori gallery to view various historical and culturally important objects. They were tasked with taking photographs using our department’s digital SLR cameras and were also able to do some pencil drawings of the objects on display.

Thanks to Ms Bailes and Ms Ioasa for organising this experience for our students!
