Earlier this year Reconnect held an event called Care to Self-Care? at Henderson High School which included a well-being seminar, K-pop performance and introduction to a creative contest they had organised. The contest resulted in the creation of a comic book that tackles self-care and boundaries in a way that’s both creative and impactful. It was recently on display at the Waitakere Central Library in Henderson to be shared with youth in our community.
