We were delighted to be able to host the Te Hapori Whānau Akoranga o Waipareira cultural festival last week. Hosting students from our Kahui Ako schools was fantastic and seeing our own students step up and contribute to the day in numerous ways was amazing. From MC to carpark management, our kapa haka performers, to helpers and hospitality, we are proud of the way you represented Henderson High School. It’s great to hear community feedback that our students are incredible (but we already knew that!).
What a great way to demonstrate all our school values: Whanaungatana (connectedness), Manaakitanga (support and respect), Kaitakitanga (caretaking) and Kotahitanga (celebrating our diversity).
Great work team!
