Two new and innovative structures are currently under construction on our school grounds. The projects, designed and created by students at the University of Auckland School of Architecture, are in the final stages of completion.
The Wood Shed, pictured first, includes a desk made from eight species of timber. It is a place to consider engineering properties and construction techniques.
The Wooden Cloud provides a focus on water quality. Artistically, the structures blur together like a cloud, and the columns suggest rain.
These exciting designs inspire students with architectural aspirations to follow this career path. Take a look at the photos as their development takes shape.
