Year 12 students Emerson, Ezekiel, Benbrit, Dayton, Emma, Dylan, Brianna, Chloe, Joshua and Hakeem completed their 5-week work placement at Bunnings this term as part of the Gateway programme.
The Store Manager of Bunnings, New Lynn, had very positive feedback regarding this group! “On behalf of Bunnings, New Lynn, Henderson High students were awesome! They followed every instruction given by the team, safety is always a high priority in any hardware retail stores, and they managed to maintain it which was great. They are very obedient students, and we appreciated having them. We hope to get more students like this in future.”
