Year 12 PE ākonga are currently working towards analysing the application of risk management strategies in a challenging outdoor activity and an overnight camp at Shakespear Regional Park was a great way to apply their chosen risk management strategies.
They didn’t encounter any rain during the trip which meant the weather was ideal for our ākonga to complete the following activities: setting up and packing away tents, cooking their meals on gas cookers and completing a 3-hour tramp through the different tracks located around Shakespear Park. It is always great to have our students experience, learn and enjoy being in an outdoor environment!
