Last week we were delighted to welcome Bronson Burgess to HHS to address our ākonga from Year 9 and Year 10. Bronson is a lawyer and a professional wrestler whose tireless work is helping the wrestling community strengthen the pathway to professional wrestling. He grew up in West Auckland and is of Māori and Samoan descent.
Bronson delivered an inspiring message of hard work, tenacity and believing in your dreams, encouraging our students to aim for excellence in all they do and pursue their passion tirelessly. The Q and A session was very interactive, and students were candid in questioning including quizzing the lawyers about most interesting scenarios. Thanks Bronson!
