Congratulations to our “Love Your Place” Awards winners. These awards celebrate volunteers, businesses and schools making a difference for the environment in the Waitākere Ranges Local Board area.
The awards are held every second year and two of our wonderful Henderson High School tauira, Eloise and Fred were winners. We are delighted but not surprised with these two winning awards for their mahi in preserving nature, leading young ones, and making a real difference! Fred won a highly commended award and Eloise, at just 13 years old, was the overall winner for showing emerging leadership around local environmental issues. Wow!
