Saki participated in this year’s first “Battle of the Pans” cooking competition against schools from around the North Island. Mrs Wilderspin was impressed with Saki’s extreme devotion, working on perfecting her creation for weeks. On the day of the competition, Saki presented the judges with a sophisticated pear and ginger cake adorned with glass pears. She achieved the highest score in her category and earned a silver award.
