We were delighted to be able to host 100 teacher trainees for a professional learning day this week. The Auckland School’s Teacher Training Programme (ASTTP) is a joint venture between 40 Auckland Secondary Schools and the University of Waikato. This hands-on programme accelerates learning as teachers train in a school environment.
Thanks to Ms Durkin and Mr Hukui for their mahi, upholding the tikanga and being fantastic role models for other kaiako (teachers) in our kura (school). Thank you to our guests for their appreciation and positive feedback.
