Earlier this month our Year 12 PE classes experienced an overnight camp at Shakespear Regional Park. Ākonga are currently working towards analysing the application of risk management strategies in a challenging outdoor activity, so a camp and tramp was a great way to apply this. During the trip students set up tents, cooked their own meals using gas cookers and completed a 3-hour tramp through the different tracks located around the park. We were very lucky with the weather and it was great to see our students enjoying being in an outdoor environment!
