Our Te Hiringa Experience Days and Testing have commenced with Year 8 students putting their STEAM skills to the test.
They started by making ice cream using liquid nitrogen and laser printed stamps under the guidance of our Year 9 ambassadors and our Tech and STEAM teachers! We can report that the ice cream was delicious!
They also used Camellia flowers to discover how quickly liquid nitrogen freezes an object, and changes its texture.
We had a great turnout and our staff enjoyed meeting our prospective 2023 students. It is great to see the brilliant new minds heading our way next year!
