Our Level one PE classes spent a day climbing the walls at Vertical Adventures in Glen Eden during Assessment Week.
Students had an awesome time learning how to belay and rock climb along with fun clip and climb activities. While the climbing was fun, the students were being assessed on their ability to demonstrate appropriate behaviours to keep themselves and others physically and emotionally safe, while complying with instructions and communicating effectively.
A huge thank you to Vertical Adventures in Glen Eden for having us and Mrs Ta’ala, Mr Tiller, Mr Rama and Ms Lodge for organising such a rewarding learning experience!
