Year 9 Liv had a great time competing at the Scholastic Surfing Competition held in Gisborne over the holidays; she enjoyed the healthy competition and was happy with her individual third place result. But for her the most enjoyable part of this four day event was the fact that she was surfing as part of a team.
Liv says “I liked surfing for points for the team not just for myself. It was a really fun competition, and the team atmosphere was awesome.”
Liv and the rest of the Auckland team took out second place in the overall competition, a great result. Congratulations on all your hard work Liv!
