Our Pliable Arts students took a look behind the scenes during their cross curricula social studies assessment and learned about the serious ethical and environmental concerns around the fashion industry. Students created an art installation in the library to share what they learned and raise awareness of their friends and classmates about this important issue.
Many of the students had no idea what lay behind their clothes; they took a genuine interest in the subject and were shaken when they realised the impact their choices were having on the world around them. This made them all the more determined to take social action to share what they had learned! A big thanks goes out to Ms Walker for helping our students take their concerns around sustainability and transform them into works of art!
