Our Level 1 Product Technology Resistant Materials class have recently been exploring signage, from design to function. The students were tasked with selecting a client then designing and producing signage to meet their requirements. The sign is an example of one of the finished works. The client in this case was Ms Johnston, our Head of Technology who requested a sign for her office. The sign was created with pine and acrylic and produced using our laser cutter. Ms Johnston was thrilled with the result. This type of real world learning ensures our students have the skills and experience required to step in to the fast moving world of technology
