On Wednesday evening four of our students were invited to attend a presentation at the Trade Me headquarters in Auckland through our partnership with She#.
She# aims to link together women who are already in the computer science, computer engineering, IT, and tech-related fields (in both academia and industry), and establish a platform to network with each other. They have regular workshops and seminars to promote IT profession to young female students.
Our IT superstars Christina, Sam, Sam and Zaira got to listen to two high ranking women in Trade Me discuss public speaking and their role in the tech industry.
Sounds like a very interesting and educational night, we can’t wait to see what these young women achieve.
